The Optimist Clubs of Barbados has embarked on a program to provide tablet computers for disadvantaged children ages 14-16 yrs. in Barbados.

We at the Progressive Optimist Club are proud to participate in this venture, and as such we are asking members to get involve and help as best as they can.

[UPDATE] Club members donated ~$2,000 to this drive, enabling us to purchase FIVE Table Computers.  These were distributed to students at the Springer Memorial School and Graydon Sealy Secondary (nee. The Garrison) after being serialized via the Ministry of Education.
The two secondary schools choosen are schools our club normal work with.
